The winner, to be announced on October 22, will receive a prize valued at $13,000 US, that will include roundtrip airfare for two from New York to Copenhagen, Denmark; a four day/three night stay at Radisson Blu Hotel, a VIP tour of oldest film studio in the world Nordisk Studios in Copenhagen and airport transfers.

The contest will run from July 7 – October 20, 2011. eurocinema partner Nordisk Film & TV Fond is the main sponsor of the contest.

BEHIND BLUE SKIES, 2010, Sweden, selected for the Toronto Film Festival. Starring Bill Skarsgard and Josefin Lungeman (FATSO). It's the summer of 1975. Martin has just graduated from high school and leaves the concrete of the city for a summer job at Sandhamn's exclusive yacht club restaurant in Stockholm's archipelago. A whole new world opens up for him, but before Martin really understands what is going on he finds himself in the middle of one of the greatest scandals in Swedish criminal history.

KAUTOKEINO REBELLION, 2008, Norway, Sweden and Denmark (Norwegian), winner of five international film awards starring Mikael Persbrandt (2010 Oscar winner IN A BETTER WORLD) and Anni-Kristina Juuso. For centuries northern Scandinavia has been inhabited by the native sami population and their reindeers. In a historical saga set in 1852, modernisation is about to enter the desolate village of Kautokeino where authority is held by the ruthless and prosperous liquor dealer. One of the native tribes refuses to pay their unjust debt, leading to one of the most dramatic episodes in northern Scandinavian history.

DEAR ALICE, 2010, Sweden, Directed by the previously awarded Othman Karim from Sweden. The critically acclaimed, partly English spoken drama, tells the story of four very different lives and how their paths, by a series of circumstances, come to cross. LITTLE SOLDIER, 2008, Denmark, winner of 2 international film awards including Berlin for director Annette K. Olesen. The film stars Trine Dyrholm (2010 Oscar winner IN A BETTER WORLD) and Thure Lindhardt. After yet another mission abroad, the young soldier Lotte returns home, completely disillusioned with life. Lotte's unreliable father, offers her a job as a chauffeur for his Nigerian girlfriend Lily. Both carry invisible scars and are reluctant at first, but a friendship slowly emerges between the two women, and things take an unexpected turn.
