Feed The Children And Midwest Food Bank Partner To Feed Hungry Families

400 Families to Receive Food and Personal Care Items

Online PR News – 22-December-2009 – – Bloomington, IL (Dec. 12, 2009) – On Monday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m., international hunger relief organization Feed The Children will distribute a semi tractor-trailer full of food items to the Midwest Food Bank (1703 S Veterans Parkway). The distribution will occur at a later date.

Midwest Food Bank is a partner agency of Feed The Children and has pre-identified the 400 recipient families. The boxes are designed to help a family for up to one week.

“We are excited to be able to partner with Midwest Food Bank at such a critical time,” said Feed The Children spokesman Tony Sellars. “These families will hopefully have a happier holiday thanks to the help that will be provided.”
