Local social media expert is teaching business owners how to grow their businesses using social media
Online PR News – 30-June-2011 – – If you asked several business owners about social media marketing, you would get a wide range of responses. For some it’s fear, for others it’s confusion, and for others it’s the "paralysis of analysis" and for others it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to them. The reality is that people spend time engaging with others on social media websites – lots of time. According to SocialMediatoday.com, the average person spends over 4 hours per month on social media sites. The website also points out that while the use of Facebook is growing at a rapid rate, the statistics for “the rest of the web” shows a decline. This speaks volumes to the need for business owners to get educated and get on board with social media.
Those that take action and implement even the basics, are seeing it impact their business. Phoenix Acupuncturist Jose Montoya, is one such business owner. Montoya, who runs a thriving Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Clinic, took some simple steps by connecting with those he knew on Facebook and also setting up a Facebook Fan Page for his business, Health Synergy. "I am blessed when I log on to Facebook and see people telling others how they have been helped by me and encouraging others to give me a call… and it’s translated into growth for the business" Montoya expressed.
