Parikh achieved board certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Parikh, who joined the practice in 2011, is fellowship-trained in pain medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University and is a graduate of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Alliance of the Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the Hackett Hemwall Foundation.

The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation examines and certifies physicians who complete an accredited program of PM&R training in the United States and voluntarily apply to the Board for certification or maintenance of certification.
