Instrument Rental Labs receives A2LA accreditation for its calibration services.

Instrument Rental Labs primarily rents electronic test and measuring equipment such as Agilent, Fluke and National Instruments products. The company also calibrates specialized testing equipment that is difficult to get certified elsewhere. These include ESD guns to the IEC 61000-4-2 standard, National Instruments PXI modules including RF & Spectrum Analysis equipment, Hipot Testers that require accreditation to meet Underwriter’s Labs requirements, and power quality testing equipment used for electrical system verification.

The announcement comes on the heels of a two-year long process of developing and implementing new quality manuals, procedures, internal audits and all elements of the ISO/IEC 17025-2005, ANSI Z540.1-.3 calibration lab requirements.
