Suzanne Hicks was born in Alabama. At the tender age of six, she wrote and performed her first song, Little Red Robin. While attending Belmont College, she fell in love with Nashville. Her early career saw her partner with Stuart Dill and Refugee Management. After meeting MAF Musical Director, Ken Harrell, at Nashville’s renowned Bluebird, they combined their talents on a number of songs. Hicks’ sound caught the ear of Terry Choate, and he signed her with Larry Gatlin’s Magnet publishing company for a number of years. Currently Hicks resides in Franklin, where she enjoys her family and performing at local Nashville venues.

MAF President Herb Knoll states, “We welcome Suzanne to our family of Angel Artists. If you listen closely to her music and lyrics, you’ll hear the warmth of a small town, the joy of church and the bright lights of Nashville in every note. It’s great to be able to share her music with our website visitors.” New Angel Artist, Hicks said, “I’m honored and privileged to be one of Michelle’s Angels artists. I love the thought of using my music as a gift and a tool to heal.”
