Outsourced accounting services company, OSI Business Services, announces it is attending the Scaling New Heights Intuit conference. The conference will give the virtual accounting department new information regarding QuickBooks.
Online PR News – 19-May-2009 – – POMPTON PLAINS, NJ - Outsourced accounting services company, OSI Business Services, recently announced it is attending the 'Scaling New Heights' conference on Intuit software in Atlanta, GA. The conference brings together some of the most experienced and knowledgeable Intuit instructors to teach a variety of subjects and takes place May 18-19, 2009.
Conference attendees can choose from one of four different tracks while at the Scaling New Heights conference. These tracks include: Advanced QuickBooks Core, Advanced Enterprise Suite, Enterprise Suite Certification Exam Preparation and QuickBase and QuickBooks Enterprise Suite Exam Preparation. Each track covers different learning objectives and classes to help meet those goals. Although some conference attendees may find it beneficial to attend only one track, attendees can pick and choose individual classes to create their own custom conference.
"This conference is the perfect refresher course for our top employees. Because we're an outsourced accounting department, our customers rely on us to keep up to date on the latest Intuit software programs. They know we're looking out for their best interests and that they can trust us to act as their company's own personal accountants," said Dennis Najjar, CPA and managing member of OSI Business Services.
OSI is a company made up of accounting professionals who are spread across the United States. Because OSI's employees work remotely, the firm is able to offer professional accounting advice to businesses, no matter what the company's size. Many of OSI's clients are small to mid size businesses that do not require a full time accounting department with a net worth ranging from $1-$25 million.
OSI's employees are able to efficiently coordinate everything that a traditional accounting department would handle and can act as a company's bookkeeper, accounting software specialist and controller. Bookkeeper duties can include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes and other financial reports. Having all these duties outsourced means that OSI clients can focus on their own business, knowing their finances are in good hands. OSI employees are certified in QuickBooks ProAdvisor, MYOB and Peachtree and are members of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
"We've worked hard to become the number one virtual accounting department in the country. Our employees truly care about their customers and their willingness to attend the Scaling New Heights Intuit conference is just another demonstration of that care." "Our employees are the best of the best from around the country and we're extremely picky about who we hire. Any new employees are required to become QuickBooks ProAdvisors within six months of joining our team, but the job's not done then. We routinely look for conferences like this one to keep our skills sharp," said Najjar.
