The Cooper MINI iOS app, developed by HP Group, has been downloaded more than 4000 times from the App Store over the weekend, placing it near the top of the New & Noteworthy section.
Online PR News – 06-June-2011 – – Over the weekend the Cooper MINI iOS app designed and developed by Colchester based digital marketing agency HP Group made it into Apple’s "New and Noteworthy" section. The popularity of the app earned it a spot on the front page of the App Store all weekend, and it's currently sitting at number 3 behind the "New York Times Travel" App and the "Take That" app!
The innovative app, which helps users find the perfect new or used MINI, has been downloaded over 4000 times. Users can search used MINIs direct from their phone, check out pictures, videos and brochures of the latest MINI models, find their nearest Cooper MINI dealership and get useful information for car servicing and other services.
Ross Scrivener, the HP Group developer working on the app stated, "I'm really pleased the app has received such recognition, we're always trying to balance the cost of developing apps with their marketing impact and this has proven to be extremely cost effective."
HP Group founding partner and managing director Steve Dart said, "It shows the power of rich media and how small investments can make a massive impact. That is 4000 extra people who now interact with the Cooper Mini brand in the space of a weekend. I am thrilled for the team and for our client."
