Online PR News – 02-June-2011 – – May 31st, 2011, Kolkata: The veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha is all set to host the Bhojpuri version of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati on Mahuaa TV from June 6.

Just completing the entire shooting for “Ke Bani Crorepati” in Kolkata Shatrughan Sinha meets the people of the City of Joy and shares his experience during this shooting. He said, “I believe that the show “Ke Bani Crorepati” is all set to television content in the Bhojpuri language. It’s a tribute to the Bhojpuri language and the community that an international format like ‘Who Wants to be Millionaire’ (popularly known as KBC in India) is being made in the Bhojpuri language.

‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ a hit show in over 110 countries and known as Kaun Banega Crorepati in India, is for the first time being produced in the Bhojpuri and Bengali language and will be aired on Mahuaa TV and Mahuaa Bangla respectively. The ‘Classic KBC’ format will be on air, with contestants attempting 15 questions for a prize money of Rs 1 crore.
Across the world, this show is about ordinary people changing their lives for real and it is no exception in these two new avatars. To add to the entertainment quotient there will be celebrity episodes. Bollywood star Govinda, renowned singer Udit Narayan, former finance minister Yashwant Sinha and the Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha have joined the celebrity band wagon. The participants and viewers across the length and breadth of the entire Bhojpuri speaking belt will share a wonderful moments with the most popular actor-politician of the region Shatrughan Sinha.
