At 8 p.m. on June 2, British Open Pub owner Gregg Troilo will pour 41 pints of beer for the first 41 people to show up and then signal for the beginning of the Coronation Day salute. Afterward, the pub will have drink specials for all patrons, including a $2 Bud Light special, $2 Patron Citronage shots and extended happy hour pricing until close.

In front of 8,000 guests at Londonâ€™s Westminster Abbey, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned queen on June 2, 1953. Queen Elizabeth II was handed the four symbols of authority â€“ the orb, the scepter, the rod of mercy and the royal ring of sapphire and rubies â€“ and the crown was placed on her head by the Archbishop of Canterbury. She has since ruled England for the past 58 years.
