This community idea was conceived and developed in the shadow of the Gargantuan Thompson Dock, situated here on Queens Island in Belfast.

It will launch alongside their amazing new community website Titanicdock.com. The app was developed with the assistance of Northern Ireland Screen and has wide support from development agencies and stakeholders.
Explained John Bustard, managing director of Awakin, "This new iPhone application is a progression from our previous mobile digital experiences, such as the award winning Armoy Armada Digital Experience. He went on to say ‘We are particularly excited about the interest this project is opening up in the USA. We aim to highlight the creative capability that exists here, which is built on a very sound design and engineering prowess.”
Within the Titanifacts ‘app’ users will have the opportunity to view the documentary, ‘Titanic Island’ which highlights the amazing feats of engineering that were taking place over 100 years ago in Belfast. There are many contributions from key people including Una Reilly of Belfast Titanic Society and Dr Norman Apsley of NI Science Park.
