One of the UK's leading Canon photocopiers suppliers, Falcon, has just opened a new office in Cardiff, Wales
Online PR News – 22-May-2011 – – Falcon is delighted to announce its recent acquisition of Touch Paper photocopiers in Cardiff, South Wales. In the company’s drive towards expansion, the purchase of Touch Paper represented an ideal opportunity to compliment Falcon’s recent growth westwards, following the acquisition of C&G Photocopiers in Gloucester last year. The deal, which makes Falcon the sole authorized Canon dealership in South Wales, will mean businesses in the region can now benefit from the company’s industry-renowned service standards as well as its impressive buying power. For Falcon, the move enables the company to service the entire breadth of the UK and provides access to an exciting, new potential customer-base.
Touch Paper photocopiers which opened its doors in early 2004, quickly became established as the leading Canon photocopiers dealership in South Wales. Since that time the firm has built-up an impressive client-list of businesses and institutions relying on the company’s know-how and high standards of care.
With Falcon’s purchase, Touch Paper now formally becomes Falcon’s Wales office with a dedicated new premises on Falcon Drive, Cardiff. Falcon is retaining Touch Paper’s highly experienced service engineers, who are also the only Welsh-speaking Canon specialists in the country. And for many of Touch Paper’s existing customers, the news also spells the return of their former, much-loved Service Manager, Colin Stokes, who currently looks after the western region for Falcon and C&G and will now be overseeing servicing for the Falcon Wales office as well.
Not only will Touch Paper’s customers continue to enjoy all that was on offer previously, with the retention of Touch Paper’s service engineers and the welcome return of a former Service Manager but the Falcon purchase means existing customers will also now be able to benefit from the scale and high level of expertise which Falcon is renowned for. As part of the Falcon organisation, the office will be able to tap-into the company’s formidable buying power, meaning better prices for customers on new photocopiers and multifunction printers and better deals for photocopier leasing. Falcon’s existing presence in the region, with C&G photocopiers only 60 miles away in Gloucester, means Touch Paper customers in the region should enjoy even better service response times, with more highly-trained service engineers being made available, especially during busy periods.
For Falcon, the purchase enables the company to cover the entire breadth of the country, with offices in Hertfordshire, Gloucester and now also Cardiff. The deal represents a prime opportunity to fully capitalise on an expanded potential customer-base across the whole of Wales, which until now hasn’t had a Canon photocopiers supplier on the scale of Falcon to meet its requirements. Falcon is also looking forward to the range of experience Touch Paper’s service engineers will bring to its operations, especially with regard to servicing customers in more remote and rural locations. In a statement, a Falcon spokesperson commented,
“As part of Falcon’s continued growth and drive towards excellence in the industry, the purchase of Touch Paper in South Wales not only increases the geographical reach of the company, but also adds value bringing senior skilled staff into the company.”
