Axess Systems win Specialist Reseller of the Year

--Derby- UK. Specialist Desktop Virtualisation Reseller, Axess Systems, picks up CRN Award in recognition for their work in IT Virtualisation

Online PR News – 10-December-2009 – – Derbyshire based Axess Systems, a leading provider of IT Desktop Virtualisation services, has been awarded ‘Specialist IT Reseller of the Year’ in this year’s CRN Channel Awards. The Channel Awards are one of the most sought after awards in the IT industry as they recognise both excellence and exceptional performance during 2009.

The award recognised Axess Systems work in providing businesses, schools, and local councils with an alternative to a traditional PC network.

Rather than having all of the software applications running individually on everyone’s PC, the PC is replaced by a small terminal, which is then connected to a central server. This method of developing a computer network has considerable financial, ecological and security benefits.

Desktop Virtualisation is becoming increasingly popular, and one recent customer that has adopted this technology, has been Saint Benedict Catholic School, in Darley Abbey, who have fitted out their new Sixth Form Centre.
