Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI), the premier and pioneering purebred canine registering body in the country, will host the 35th and 36th Federacion Cynologique Internationale (FCI) All Breed Championships on May 28 and 29, 2011 at the PCCI Activity Center, Marikina City.

(PCCI), the premier and pioneering purebred canine registering body in the country, will host the 35th and 36th Federacion Cynologique Internationale (FCI) All Breed Championships on May 28 and 29, 2011 at the PCCI Activity Center, Marikina City.
Adjudicating the events are PCCI President and Chairman Augusto Benedicto Santos III, PCCI Director Ronnie Natividad, Cathy Delmar and Sean Delmar from The Irish Kennel Club.
Santos is a PCCI and FCI International Judge. He is also a current member of the FCI Task Force, which was formed in Bratislava. He has been exposed to dog shows since he was four. Their family owned a German Short Haired Pointer who on record is the 1st Sporting Dog to win Best in Show in 1973 and the 1st dog to become a Philippine Champion and a Companion Dog on the same day. His ‘Sunshadow Labrador Retrievers’ is one of the main forces behind the success of the Philippine Labrador Retriever today. He has judged in the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, China and Finland.
Natividad is a licensed All Breeds judge of the PCCI, where he served as President for six terms. He is currently the chairman of the Affiliated Clubs Committee of PCCI. He has judged dog shows in all regions of the Philippines, as well as in Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Australia, Thailand, South Africa, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Canada. He was also responsible for bringing into the Philippines the renowned Bautzen Minpin Kennel of California.
Cathy Delmar is a member and former chairman of the Judge’s Committee of The Irish Kennel Club. An FCI International judge, she has judged for 30 years in 32 countries that included the FCI European Winner Show.
Sean Delmar, an FCI All Breeds Judge, is the president of The Irish Kennel Club. He has judged in all continents including World and Section Shows many times. He has presented breed appreciation and judging seminars for many Breed and Group clubs worldwide.
Their ‘Shillelagh Kennels’ is one of the most significant terrier kennels in Ireland over the last 50 years. Main breeds include Kerry Blues and Smooth Fox Terriers.
FCI, established in 1911, is the most prestigious world canine organization based in Belgium with over 86 members and contract partners worldwide, including PCCI. It processes results of international dog shows and awards Champion status to winning pedigrees.
Aside from FCI, PCCI is also a member or the Asia Kennel Union based in Tokyo, Japan. PCCI is also the sole body with reciprocal agreements with the American Kennel Club, Canadian Kennel Club and the Kennel Club of UK.
