For the month of May, General Motors is offering military personnel discounts on various Chevrolet, Buick and GMC models. Michigan Chevrolet dealers are excited to participate while helping troops here in the states and overseas.

The month of May is National Military Appreciation Month, and GM is offering tremendous discounts of $500 to $4,000 to Active, Reserve and Retirees of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard and Coast Guard.

Eligible members of the USAA, a financial service provider for the military community, are able to take advantage of a $750 discount on selected Chevrolet, Buick and GMC models.
Not only is General Motors offering this discount, but Chevrolet specifically is adding its own touch to National Military Appreciation Month. Every customer who purchases, leases or orders one of the qualifying vehicles, Chevrolet will give them an exclusive “Honor” badge that will be installed on the new vehicle at no extra charge.
Additionally, Chevrolet will donate $100 to the program Cell Phones for Soldiers for every vehicle that is sold through Michigan Chevrolet dealers and all other dealers that qualifies for the program and is sold with a military discount.
The GM Military Discount has been successful in the past as Michigan Chevrolet dealers in combination with others across the U.S. have collected more than 50,000 cell phones along with providing more than 114 million minutes (200 years) of free calls for troops to call home. Also, Chevrolet has given out more than 70,000 discounts to military members and to their families.
Finally, on May 28, 99 “Honor & Valor” Limited Edition 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS vehicles will be offered to customers to end the Military Appreciation Month. Customers interested may order the limited-edition Camaro at www.gmmilitarydiscount.com.
