Online PR News – 03-May-2011 – – Forget imdb, forget those “Where Are They Now?” articles - visit the newly launched website, Meet The B Team, to learn what 7 Baywatch actors are really doing, and what they have planned for the future - together.

Michael Bergin, David Chokachi, Kelly Packard, Jaason Simmons, GregAlan Williams, Alexandra Paul and Jeremy Jackson were all regulars on the international hit series, Baywatch, at varying times during its 12 year run from 1989-2001. Baywatch itself was unusual in that it became at once the most successful television show in the world and the most derided, a cult phenomenon which was also the butt of many jokes. But perhaps more unusual is that its cast of beautiful people have remained so close after all these years.

“When you share something as unique and life-changing as starring on the most watched show in the world, you develop a bond”, says David Chokachi who starred as the lifeguard Cody Madison from 1995-1999. Jeremy Jackson (Hobie Buchanon, David Hasselhoff’s son1991-1999) agrees and says he laughs more with his fellow B Teamers than anyone else.

GregAlan Williams, who starred on Baywatch and Baywatch Nights as Detective Garner Ellerbee, says the website will help consolidate the B Team brand and give fans a place to learn about and support the upcoming work of these actors. “We have so much fun together”, says Jaason Simmons (bad boy Aussie lifeguard Logan Fowler 1994-1996), “ that we want to work with each other again. We have a great script in the works”.

Why is this site different? “We don’t have Hollywood publicists making it sterile and impersonal”, says Alexandra Paul, who played lifeguard Lt .Stephanie Holden from 1991-1995. “You can find out about us as people and friends”. Kelly Packard (Lifeguard April Giminski 1996-1999) is shown with her dancing son in the home page introductory video, and Michael Bergin (J.D. Darius 1997-2001) has posted photos of himself and the Little League baseball team he coaches on the site. There are blogs actually written by the actors and short first person updates instead of long winded bios listing film credits.
