International Air Cleaning Company Invests in New Particle Testing Laboratory

HealthWay is investing in a first-class laboratory to test and certify performance of air filtration systems.

Online PR News – 27-April-2011 – – HealthWay--a leading manufacturer of residential, commercial, and medical air cleaners--has invested $250,000 to develop a world-class testing facility inside their new corporate headquarters located in Pulaski, NY, thirty miles north of Syracuse.

The cornerstone of the new laboratory is a concentration nuclei counter which looks at aerosol scattering patterns of particles in the air and confirms performance of air filters. The independently certified concentration nuclei counter measures particles down to 2 nanometers, which is two times smaller than the known virus size contaminant.

The new laboratory incorporates to most advanced technology in measuring filtration efficiency and will provide an additional verification process for HealthWay’s filtration products.

HealthWay’s latest line of mission critical inline and self-contained air cleaning equipment will all be certified as better-than-HEPA and ULPA efficiency in the new laboratory. Each filter is delivered to the customer with a certificate of performance.

Executive VP Vinny Lobdell stated, “This new laboratory raises the bar for all air cleaning manufactures while independently substantiating our filter claims. Other filtration companies will utilize HealthWay’s new testing facilities as well.”
