In attempt to step up efforts and the chances of making it to a podium finish, TRG Motorsports Team owner Kevin Buckler announced plans to introduce five Porsche in the January 2010 Rolex 24 At Daytona racing event. The event is scheduled to be held from January 30 to January 31, 2010. The team has kept up its exceptional performance at the Rolex 24 At Daytona as well as at the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. With the race around the corner, team TRG Motorsports does not want to leave any stone unturned to accelerate its performance and create new benchmarks in the sports car racing event.

Kevin Buckler announced that two of the cars will be aiming to conquer the season. Kevin Buckler has won the Rolex 24 At Daytona twice as a driver and as team owner he has accomplished three wins at the race car event. 2009 witnessed team TRG Motorsports finish 1-2 in the GT. The team has maintained a strong history at Homestead and wishes to take that forward to the Daytona International Speedway in the 24 hour endurance event. Being able to compete in races sponsored by Rolex is a matter of prestige for any race car driver, be it a professional or an amateur. Rolex events are designed to be egalitarian as well as fan friendly.
Rolex not only provides a platform for the sports talent of the world to compete on, but also recognizes their efforts and presents them to the world by way of honorary ceremonies. Rolex has long enjoyed an association with sports events and has proudly witnessed many a talent rising. Team TRG Motorsports is extending its multi-car effect to the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 as well as the KONI Sports Car Challenge.
Although the entire team is yet to be finalized, team owner Kevin Buckler did confirm that the winner of the 2009 Rolex 24 At Daytona Andy Lally will be part of the line-up. Spencer Pumpelly who was the runner-up at the event will also be seen competing this year. Patrick Long is expected to join the team however the same is yet to be confirmed. As always, Kevin Buckler still has a few surprises up his sleeve as to who will be part of his team and represent TRG Motorsports at the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Rolex 24 At Daytona not only tests the drivers but also the machines for reliability and is the biggest endurance race event that is held in the United States. With only a few seats left in the top level cars, Kevin Buckler will be making the final announcements in the coming week or two. The 24 hours event makes for an exciting watch as not only the teams compete for speed but also they compete for endurance and a consistent performance. It is an exceptional treat for fans as the lead changes very often and with the cream of the circuit vying for a podium finish, the event gets as unpredictable as a racing event can get.
