Key West Dive Center Running Scuba Diving and Instruction Courses Throughout Holiday Season; Closed on Christmas Day

This holiday season, Key West's premier center and website for Key West scuba diving trips, the Key West Dive Center, will be conducting their daily scuba diving trips every day except on the Christmas Day holiday on December 25th

Online PR News – 28-November-2009 – – Travelers coming to Key West Florida this holiday season and looking to experience a Key West scuba diving adventure can expect scuba diving trips to depart every day except Christmas Day (December 25th) through the holiday season and into Key West's peak season starting on January 1st. The Key West Dive Center only closes for the one day, December 25th, but will be conducing morning and afternoon dive trips, as well as instruction and certification courses, every other day of the season including Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Due to its year-round warm temperatures and clear waters, Key West Florida is a premier vacation destination during the holidays. Families, couples, and solo travelers from all over the country decide to journey down to the country's southernmost island to spend the holidays and to ring in the new year. Travelers coming to Key West who want to see what all the hype around Key West diving trips is about will be happy to find out that Key West scuba diving and Key West snorkeling trips will be conducted every day during the busy holiday season except for December 25th.

This gives travelers, who typically spend at least 4 days in Key West, plenty of time to squeeze in one, or more, Key West diving excursions. While certified scuba divers can go on either the morning wreck dive or the afternoon reef dive, non-certified novice divers can also join in the phone thanks to the Key West Dive Center's introductory Dive-in-a-Day courses or their full scuba certification courses.

"While other places close down for days at a time during the holidays, that's really not an option for us down here in Key West," explains a reservations agent, Jodie Robinson, from the Key West Dive Center. "The holidays get busier than ever and our tour operators, captains, and dive instructors are fine with spending the busy holiday weeks out on the water with travelers from all over."

The period of the holidays from just before December 24th to just after New Year's Day is one of Key West's busiest times of the year. Everything from Key West snorkeling trips to dolphin cruises tend to fill up well in advance.
