One of High Position's longest standing copywriters is leaving the SEO firm for a new Korea in teaching.
Online PR News – 27-November-2009 – – High Position SEO is bidding farewell to one of its longest standing SEO copywriters this winter. Shofny Ahmed will be leaving High Position to teach English in Pohang, South Korea, where she will be based for at least 12 months.
Shofny has been with High Position for 2 years, and has seen the company change a great deal over that time. Shofny commented: “When I first started working here we were based in a much smaller office. We then moved to a new place about a year ago because of our expansion. It has been really exciting because we took on a lot more high profile clients – which gave me some great challenges as a copywriter.”
“I’m really going to miss everyone here – it’s such a fun place to work!” she said, “but it’s time to take on a new challenge in South Korea – and I’m really looking forward to it!”
In her time at High Position Shofny has written search engine friendly content for all manner of companies, covering sectors as diverse as financial, retail, tourism and manufacturing. “I will have fond memories of writing about things like baby clothes, tattoo equipment and of course ceramic filters!” said Shofny.
High Position’s Technical Director Shaun Parker commented “We’re all going to miss Shofny a great deal, she’s added a real spark to the office and has helped us take some big brand websites to the top of the rankings.”
High Position and its creative arm Asteriks provides SEO and website development services to many UK and international companies, and the company’s PPC department has become one of the most successful in Europe.
