2009 Tennessee Williams Theater Season To End With A Bang

The 2009 Tennessee Williams Theater season is about to come to a close, but there's still time to take in a show. In addition to the theater, visitors staying in a Key West inn can also enjoy Key West diving, snorkeling and more.

Online PR News – 05-May-2009 – – KEY WEST, FL - The 2009 Tennessee Williams Theater season is coming to a conclusion in June, giving theater-goers in Key West a little more time to take in a professional theater performance.

The 2009 season included well-known performances such as 'A Night of Comedy with Joan Rivers,' 'The Phantom's Leading Ladies' and 'Neal Berg's 101 Years of Broadway.' Plans are already underway for the 2010 Tennessee Williams Theater season. The theater is a non-profit corporation and is operated by the Performing Arts Center for Key West. Ticket packages are available starting at $215 per person for all five shows of the season.

"Our island isn't just known for its Key West diving, though that's probably what people think of first. We have many different unique cultural experiences and the Tennessee Williams Theater is just one of them. The 2009 Encore Season was packed full of Tony Award winners, TV stars and many other celebrities from New York and around the world. Every year the shows prove to be some of the most popular activities on our island for residents and people staying in our Key West Inns," said Chris Gardner of Best On Key West.

Vacationers to Key West will also find opportunities to experience many other activities throughout their stay on the island.
