Berlin City Toyota sponsors charity concert to raise money for family in need
Online PR News – 18-November-2009 – – PORTLAND, Maine - Berlin City Toyota of Portland will host a benefit concert to raise money for a young local family stricken with the loss of their mother and an unemployed father. On Saturday, November 21st, regional band, ColorBlind will be playing from 6pm until 1am at Bubba’s Sulky Lounge.
Jamie Kingsbury, a 32-year old mother of four passed away recently. She was hospitalized with what appeared to be a acute cold but turned out to be Severe Aplastic Anemia. She died from complications of the disease.
Her husband, Jeff, who has been unemployed since being laid off last year, is struggling to pay bills and the burial costs for his wife. Their 14-month year old son has suffered from a gastro-intestinal feeding issue. He returned from the hospital after corrective surgery the day after his mother’s death.
The concert will be held at Bubba’s Sulky Lounge at 92 Portland Street in Portland. Donations of $20 will be taken at the door; 100% of the donations will be given to the family.
