Wild Frog Studio of Tarrytown, NY is third place winner of the Give & Grow Program for the advertisement created for the Make-a-Wish Foundation
Online PR News – 22-March-2011 – – Wild Frog Studio was one of the winners at the Give & Grow Gala held at Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, New York.
Wild Frog Studio was one of 15 agencies to participate in the first annual “Give & Grow” program, organized by The Journal News in collaboration with the Advertising Club of Westchester. The program was designed to benefit charities and non-profit organizations by pairing them with creative agencies located in Westchester and surrounding counties to get their messages out providing an opportunity to help deserving organizations and . . . pay it forward! Wild Frog Studio chose to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley as one of two organizations to create an ad for because of their great mission of granting wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. In creating the ad, Wild Frog Studio worked with local journalist and head of Crossbar Communications, Sue Treiman.
A panel of independent judges selected by the Advertising Club of Westchester judged all creative work submitted and awarded one Grand Prize and two runners up.
“The Journal News did a tremendous job on the "Give & Grow" program and I was especially touched to have Dream, the wish child from the winning ad created by Wild Frog Studio and the representatives of Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Hudson Valley attending the Gala, stated Rodica Ceslov. "I believe Dream's presence made the evening special for all present."
The Hudson Valley Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® was chartered in 1986 by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, one of the world's most well-known charities and has granted the wishes of more than 1,800 children with life-threatening illnesses who live in the eight New York Counties of Delaware, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester. The 2011 Wish Ball will be held on Friday, April 29th, at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor and will honor Debbie Cuney and Cathy Sifre and the Fitz Family for their service and dedication to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
