The Department of Arts of Lovely Professional University is organizing an Artistic event for one week "Art Exhibition -Expression-2011". The first of its kind, this grand art show is featuring more than two thousand art works.

Online PR News – 22-March-2011 – – The Department of Arts of Lovely Professional University is organizing an Artistic event for one week "Art Exhibition -Expression-2011". The first of its kind, this grand art show is featuring more than two thousand art works related to Charcoal Drawings, Sculpting, Clay Modelling, Poster-Making, Sketching, Card-Making, Print Making, Photography, Typography, 3-D Modelling, Graphic Designs, Canvass Paintings, Paper -Cutting Pasting, Animation TV works etc. It is in collaboration with different departments and schools of the University. Inaugurated, today, by the Pro-Chancellor, Ms Rashmi Mittal of the University, in the spacious Hall of the Department of Fine Arts, the exhibition will be on display till 26th of this month. The Director General of the University, Er HR Singla consented to let it open for the on-lookers by invocating the Goddess of Creation by lighting of the lamp.

On this occasion, honouring and encouraging the participanting students to this, Ms. Mittal said: "The young students have come out as professional artists with impressive exhibition records. Each has displayed beautifully his/her own area of expertise under exciting, interesting and unique style." Going deep in between the colours, curves and lines of the message oriented works, she further added: "Working hard a little more, they are sure to prove themselves as proven author, artist, photographer, sculptor, and graphic designer following discipline-based art curriculum. She also assured the budding talents: "We will try our level's best to get such creations exhibited not only on state level but on a national scale also."

Some of the artists of the University, Sujit Singh, Gurinder Singh and Om Badhani said: "Our teachers have inspired us greatly, being our Role models of excellence. We are following the artistic lines to help others express themselves through our pieces of different art-forms."
