DirectRooms.com can announce that the 29th International Comic Fair of Barcelona run by FICOMIC will take place between Thursday the 14th April and Sunday the 17th April 2011. It is being held in the Montjuic Hall at the Fira de Barcelona.

On Thursday and Sunday, the fair closes at 8:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the fair closes at 9:00 p.m. There will be several workshops, readings, question and answer sessions for budding comic book artists. Last years winners will also be on display plus a host of awards will handed out at this year’s fair.
Those visitors hoping to break into the comic book industry will also benefit from various networking events with publishing house representatives and award winning artists and writers. Comic book fans can also get their favourite comic books signed at scheduled signing events.
Tickets for the comic fair cost €2 to €6 per day. Ticket prices remain the same for throughout the duration of the fair. Every ticket holder will receive a free comic on presenting their ticket at the FICOMIC stand.
