Residents of Grand Ocean get used to their new concierge, Michael Lobacz, who has been offering an extra special service.
Online PR News – 18-March-2011 – – Residents at the Grand Ocean development – a collection of the highest specification new homes Sussex has to offer – have been getting used to their concierge, Michael Lobacz, who has been providing the personal touch around the new in development in Saltdean, near Brighton. Michael, 33, has a variety of roles that include monitoring the security of the building and accepting deliveries.
Commenting on his role, Michael said: “I have worked in customer service for 13 years and it is a role I really enjoy, I love meeting people and helping people. My position as Estate Manager allows me to get to know the residents and I know most of them by name now.”
Comprising 180 one and two bedroom apartments, Grand Ocean offers its residents easy access to the rolling Sussex Downs, together with fantastic views of the South East coast. The development is centred on the restored art deco Grand Ocean hotel, which has been renovated and expanded with four new wings – combining to produce an attractive collection of unique coastal retreats.
Michael went on: “I provide a personal service to everyone who has bought a home at the development. I make sure the building is safe and that any problems residents may have are fixed as soon as possible. My services are available to help residents with whatever they need and make sure their homes are safe and secure while they are out or away. I am happy to provide that reassurance.”
One resident, Mr Brynmuir Pippin, 74, purchased an apartment in Grand Ocean with his wife Sandra after their son insisted that they move nearer him in case of an emergency. Mr Brynmuir said: “Our son was worried about us being so far away from him because if there was an emergency it would be a long way to travel. He looked online and found Grand Ocean which is much closer to where he lives in Newhaven.”
The couple had previously lived in a three bedroom house and had decided to buy somewhere smaller that offered easier maintenance.
John Inglis, Sales and Marketing Director at Explore Living said: “Excellent customer service is just as important after the sale of a property as it was before a sale. Buying a home is a big decision so we ensure our homes are of the highest quality and specification. The Estate Manager, Michael is on hand at Grand Ocean to look after the building and help the residents with anything they need.”
