Online PR News – 18-September-2020 – Van Nuys, CA – Each year since 2013, LoanMart has partnered with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Minor League Baseball franchise to give three deserving high school students a special scholarship to further their education. This year, LoanMart is ready announce who was awarded the $1,000 per scholarship, totaling $3,000 for the 2020 year.
For the 2020 LoanMart Scholarship, winners include Monserrat Landino, an Honor Society Student at Rancho High School. Monserrat plans to use this scholarship to further her education at California State University, Fullerton. Monserrat has shown an aptitude for accounting as an IRS Income Tax Assistance Program volunteer and plans to pursue an accounting major.
The second winner, Asna Tabassum, was proudly the Valedictorian of her high school. She spent many of her after-school hours volunteering and interning at medical facilities and hopes to pursue Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
The third winner, Alexis Lozoya, is an accomplished scholastic student and cheerleader with a passion for leadership. Alexis plans to use her funding to pursue higher education at University of California, San Diego.
Winners of the LoanMart Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Scholarship all graduated with a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher and are active members of their California communities.
This exceptional Scholarship Program is now in its eighth year, with over $23,000 in academic funding having been distributed to help deserving students.
