Experiential streetwear brand [get]BUSY has announced the launch of their newest 2020 collection, Thank You For The Moments, dropping this Friday, Aug. 28.

Launching during an uncertain time where companionship is highly sought after, the uniquely immersive line ties together fashion with moments of genuine connection, pulling consumers into a world that never stopped moving. Drawing inspiration from time spent traveling across North America, Thank You For The Moments pays homage to the power of life’s moments created through friendship. Over the course of 18 months, Sherrell captured life with friends through his Polaroid camera, returning home with over 300 “moments” in hand. The full collection features these moments through two limited edition streetwear pieces, complimented by artfully crafted immersive elements, including a digital Polaroid photo album, curated photo themed playlist, branded short film and more.

Purchasers are automatically registered into a raffle for the exclusive glow-in-the-dark “Get Busy” wall art installation, inspired by the collection, which will take place on Friday, Sept. 4.

“Having started designing pieces while being a COVID furloughed experiential production coordinator, I like to think of my releases as an event. The tickets are free and if you like what you experienced, you can purchase a keepsake at the end in the form of streetwear. In the live event world, we’re always asking ourselves “How do we make people feel like they’re a part of something bigger?”. For me, including immersive and interactive components is what makes this brand special and with this release, each layer of curation adds to the larger story.”

Founded in March 2020, [get]BUSY is an experiential streetwear brand, providing fashion in the form of immersive experiences. It’s first collection, in collaboration with Indy-based art collective 7House, the “Don’t Pick A Lane” hoodie dropped this May, selling out in less than 24 hours. The brand has since then garnered much excitement and anticipation for its next drop. Rob Sherrell is a LA-based creative director, producer and writer, who draws on his expertise in many different “lanes” to curate memorable experiences through fashion, film and event production.
