Online PR News – 18-August-2020 – Oxford – HARMAN launches new online resource for self-learning and inspiration to enhance active listening skills
HARMAN, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., focused on connected technologies for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, has launched its new Art of Listening website.
Among the key lessons the world has learned over the past few months is the profound importance of music: to heal, to remind us of who we are in an environment where nothing seems normal, to bring us together even in the midst of social distancing. Together with our family of esteemed audio brands we at HARMAN have long championed music’s unique ability to help people enhance their mood and inspire their lives. But in order to tap into that transformative power of music, one key is knowing how to listen.
Through the Art of Listening website, people will gain access to a rich knowledge resource filled with constantly updated information that is not only educational, but inspiring and entertaining as well. We hope that it will help all visitors improve their listening techniques and reap the full, very real rewards of active listening.
The website features listening tips by HARMAN audio experts, carefully curated playlists for people to evaluate their audio equipment, inspirational video content with industry experts, as well as the latest episodes of the HARMAN Audio Matters podcast.
“At HARMAN our passion is to create immersive listening experiences for all, whether in the studio, on the stage, at home, in the car or on the go. Studies have shown to reap the full psychological, physiological and cognitive benefits of listening to music, the key is knowing how to listen. Our new Art of Listening website gives everyone the ideal resources to perfect their listening skills,” said Dave Rogers, President of the Lifestyle Division at HARMAN.
