Online PR News – 16-August-2020 – New York, New York – The Bridge Builders Collaborative has recently welcomed its newest member, Randall Mays. As of June 2020, Mays joins esteemed collegaues and investors to envision a future for people around the world that offers deeper models of mental, social and spiritual well-being.
Mays comes to the Bridge Builders Collaborative with decades of business and philanthropic experience. He is the CEO of Running M Capital and a Co-Managing Partner of Mays Family Enterprise. As the most recent member of the Bridge Builders, he brings both business acumen and his personal interest in neuroscience, wellness, and human consciousness to the collaborative.
Bridge Builders Collaborative is an investment group founded in 2012 by three investors who came together to fund companies creating mindfulness and mind-training solutions through technology. The group has invested in 15 companies, and can point to both at least 100 million people who are now meditating on the portfolio companies platforms, and to financial success. They were early pioneers investing in new concepts like meditation apps, behavioral health platforms, digital therapeutics, brain sensing wearables. They made early investments in such companies as Insight Timer, Happify Health, Interaxon (makers of the Muse headband), Pear Therapeutics, gloo, eMindful and Headspace.
As Randall Mays explains, "I have always been deeply interested in the mind, human connections and mental wellness and have sought to find a group of likeminded individuals with whom to learn and make a more meaningful, committed impact together. Joining the collaborative, I know that we are on a journey together to find social entrepreneurs who have scalable business models and are seeking to impact people’s lives in significant ways for the better."
Charlie Hartwell, the groups Managing Partner explains the power of the collaborative, “Coming together, we can access hundreds of years of individual business success and experience to make better decisions on investments that can create more global opportunities for the expansion of human consciousness. Then, we can draw on networks of our partners to support the entrepreneurs and platforms that we invest in. As well, our partners collaboratively support the whole ecosystem that we serve through philanthropy, counsel, research, and physical spaces such as the 1440 Multiversity (Scott Kriens, Bridge Builder member, is the co-founder of 1440).
Collectively, the Bridge Builders Collaborative has invested in 15 companies, five of which have reached $100 million valuations: three of which have achieved more than $300 million. They have invested more than $45 million. The returns speak for themselves, as does the health impact for millions of people. Randall is joining the collaborative at a time when it has announced it’s next chapter of investing - which is to focus on deeper models of human transformation, alleviation of inner suffering, deeper connection to self and others, and expanded states of consciousness.
Bridge Builders welcomes Randall Mays and looks forward to a bright, healthy future for all people through its continued investment in mental wellness and consciousness through technology.
