Money 101, a program to build and empower women to make healthy money habits, starts virtually in August.
Online PR News – 29-July-2020 – Pasadena, California – 50/50 Leadership is delighted to announce that its financial literacy programs are launching virtually and will be accessible nationally. Beginning in August, they will facilitate three free sessions of the Money 101 course which will give women in need the opportunity to learn the essentials of personal finance.
The Money 101 Financial Literacy Program teaches participants topics such as personal financial management, industry jargon, and the avoidance of common mistakes. The Money 101 program is also accompanied by an optional year-long program consisting of one-on-one mentoring with an experienced coach.
There will be a choice of three different start dates for this 4-week long course, it will be offered on weekdays and weekends. The first weekly course begins on Monday, August 10th and ends on Monday, August 31st. The second session begins on Thursday, August 13th and ends on Thursday, September 3rd. The third session begins on Saturday August 8th and ends on Saturday, August 29th.
Those who participate in the year-long mentorship program will have the opportunity to work with a mentor who will help them achieve their financial goals. The mentors will also help the participants navigate financial systems and provide advice regarding jobs, managing debt, etc.
"The Money 101 Financial Literacy Program will empower women to make good decisions and give women the tools to build a healthy relationship with money," said Pauline Field, Founder and Chair of 50/50 Leadership. The program aims to help women develop a "peace of mind and confidence in their ability to manage their own financial lives."
