Congressman McCarthy and Brig Gen Higer were key presenters at the Southern California Defense Contracting Virtual Summit hosted by the Defense Leadership Forum

Online PR News – 17-June-2020 – Southern California – Congressman Kevin McCarthy, the House Minority Leader, and Brigadier General Matthew A. Higer, Commander, 412th Test Wing at Edwards Air Force Base, were featured as the key presenters at the Southern California Defense Contracting Virtual Summit, organized by the Defense Leadership Forum (DLF) on June 15, 2020.

This free unique “virtual” event features key commanders and contracting officials from military bases in Southern California providing presentations on military mission and contracting priorities. Over 400 military, government, business, and community leaders participated in the virtual “Chat Room” as well as a Q&A Room, where participants can ask the presenters questions.

The Summit began with Congressman McCarthy’s presentation at 9:00 AM Pacific. Brigadier General Higer provided his presentation and answered questions at 9:20 AM Pacific. Additional presenters included:

The Summit also featured a Virtual Exhibit Hall, featuring the virtual exhibits of military bases as well as a variety of companies interested in doing business with the military.
