The sprawling, two-storey flagship store in Annandale, Sydney, opens to the rest of the world for their browsing pleasure. It houses King Living’s full collection which includes award-winning sofas, dining furniture, bedroom range and home office selections. Individual products are tagged with additional information such as unique design features and pricing. The virtual showroom also allows customers to effortlessly pan the viewing angle to various perspectives and even zoom in to scrutinise the intricate details of the designs.
To get a better feel of King Living’s innovative furniture, product demonstration videos and interactive options are available. Watch how TouchGlide® Technology works on sofas such as King Cloud III to effortlessly adjust the headrest, back and footrest with the touch of a button; or how Good Design Award Winner, ETO Desk, integrates power, wireless charging and lighting seamlessly into a sleek desk. Compartments in sofas can be “opened” to unveil a hidden space for a good view of King Living’s smart storage settings.
The virtual showroom has been created using the latest Matterport Pro 2 Camera with 4K resolution, which is as close to a real showroom experience as King Living customers can get. When browsing, users will be directed to specific product pages on the website and can customise their new sofa or furniture piece. Upon online purchase, a new addition to the home will arrive within the next six to eight weeks. To make more informed choices, customers can enter “Measurement Mode” in the virtual showroom to find out the exact size of products and decide on the configuration of modular sofas that they prefer.
