Online PR News – 29-May-2020 – New York – International Pop artist Ed Heck and LongLat, Inc. to Donate Over 5,000 Colorful Face Masks to Hospitals Across
New York, New Jersey and Boston.
For Every Mask Purchased, One Mask Will Be Donated to our Frontline Workers
Brooklyn, NY (May 28, 2020): As the COVID-19 pandemic has spread it is affecting many New Yorker's and their family members. When Pop Artist Ed Heck’s aunt was diagnosed positive, he wanted to find a way to help.
In response to the urgent plea from New York Governor Cuomo regarding the need for face masks in which he urged people and companies to get creative and help, Ed reached out to LongLat, Inc., a company that produces quality products to create a line of face masks. The company CEO Parkson Liang, a New Jersey resident, agreed and his team at LongLat, Inc. geared up with the artist for production of over 5,000 masks to be donated to hospitals in the tri-state area.
The masks will feature 40 different colorful pop art images for both adults and children’s sizes and are reusable and washable. Each mask features adjustable elastic loops and an antibacterial coating. The masks can be worn separate or with an additional surgical mask inserted for added protection. They come with their own washable matching carry pouch and carabiner metal clip.
Ed hopes the bright, colorful and fun designs will encourage adults and children alike, to wear masks to protect themselves and their families. “We are not only protecting ourselves but each other, to help stop the spread of COVID-19”, says Heck.
In addition to this initial donation of face masks to the hospitals in New York, New Jersey, and Boston, with every face mask purchased, one will be donated to first responders and healthcare workers.
Hospitals masks will be donated to include: St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, NYU Langone Health, Brooklyn Hospital (Dept. of Pediatrics), Montifiore Hospital (Bronx), Jamaica Hospital (Queens), Hackensack University Medical Center (New Jersey), Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital (Manhattan), RUSK Rehabilitation (Manhattan) to name a few.
