Online PR News – 29-May-2020 – Atlanta, Georgia – OnBoard Inc., the leading authority on women in the boardroom and executive suites of Georgia public companies and a catalyst to increase female directors on for-profit company boards, is pleased to announce Lisa Robinson has been named President of the organization, effective June 1st.

The new position of president will replace the executive director with redesigned responsibilities as OnBoard approaches its third decade. OnBoard’s mission has experienced great momentum under the strong leadership of Rona Wells as its executive director for the last 16 years.
“We are so grateful to Rona for her years of service to OnBoard and fully support her decision to retire as executive director,” says Kelly Gay, chair and CEO of OnBoard. “We want to thank Rona for her interminable commitment and contributions to the organization over these many years and look forward to having her continue on our Board.”

As president, Lisa Robinson will focus on building relationships with the Atlanta community, steward the OnBoard mission, and oversee the operations. “We are so excited to have Lisa join OnBoard as we look to our next 30 years,” continues Gay. “Her nonprofit experience, enthusiasm for the mission, and demonstrated success throughout her career are outstanding fits for OnBoard’s goals and plans as we continue to support our mission of increasing the number of women in executive leadership roles and on corporate boards.”

Robinson is a partner at Bell Oaks Executive Search and her career spans the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, working with start-ups to Forbes 100 companies. Since 2001, she has focused on fundraising and building and leading teams, most recently as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Woodruff Arts Center. She sits on the Board of Directors for St. Vincent de Paul Georgia where she chairs the development committee; is a court appointed special advocate; serves on the Executive Board of the Georgia Planned Giving Council; serves on the development committee of the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia; and was recently Gift Chair for her alma mater, Miss Porter’s School.
