Contemporary jewelry design brand, A Gross Domestic Product, launches Cyprus, a new collection inspired on the Reinassance.
Online PR News – 21-May-2020 – Mexico City – Mexico City, MX – A Gross Domestic Product is delighted to announce the launch of the Cyprus Collection, a jewelry line that stands for a new notion of dainty luxury. Described as refined and unbothered, Cyprus defines a new approach to contemporary design by simplifying the essence of Baroque. The official online launch date for the collection is May 29, 2020.
On the making of this collection, the first challenge was to preserve a strong notion of authority while developing a modern concept of austerity in craftsmanship through the study on how jewelry was portrayed in the Renaissance paintings. The main figurative insights for the design came from the wearer point of view: layered rings, estate jewelry, stackable collars and intricate chains. The result is a jewelry collection that expresses the dauntless luxury of relaxation and freedom among the sway shiftings of the contemporary world.
Following a maritime motif inspired on Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus and its alluring atmosphere, the collection offers geometric and radically simplified lines without compromising style. Each piece enhance the elegance of moving freely and is available on bronze and silver, with a gold option temporary unavailable due to COVID-19. Pieces are 3D printed before being casted on metal and delivered worldwide by Shapeways, with prices on range depending on the material and size.
