Online PR News – 06-March-2020 – Los Angeles, CA – Author and award-winning screenwriter, Paolo Mazzucato, tells the tale of _A Most Curious Winter’s Night_ in which a child, coping with the loss of a parent and a move to a new home, is welcomed into a dreamlike, winter fantasy by a magical snowman who reminds the child that no one truly melts away if we remember them. The illustrated picture book will be released in May of 2020 by BepiBooks and available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other booksellers in addition to

In a world of increasing uncertainty for children, where everything from news of worldwide illness and gun violence to family dissolution and single-parent households takes its toll on what should be their wondrous and carefree childhood, a story of a magical friend with a simple message about dealing with loss can be the thing to help a child cope. Mazzucato, whose February 2019 Amazon Best-Selling children’s book, _No One Mocks a Panda_ dealt with issues of diversity and acceptance, wrote _A Most Curious Winter’s Night_ hoping to provide a gentle story reminder to young readers about the power of imagination and remembering loved ones.

Mazzucato explains: “I loved reading stories to my children that had an element of bittersweet reality to them. For me, a book like _The Velveteen Rabbit_ by Margery Willliams is both imaginative and realistic in its treatment of loss. A tear that gives way to an uplifting realization can be cathartic, and not just for a child. _A Most Curious Winter’s Night_ does that for me.”
