Chester Springs, Pennsylvania – February 2020
Levante Brewing Company, one of Chester County Pennsylvania’s popular craft breweries, announced today the opening of their second, permanent location “Levante Stables”. Located in Chester Springs, Chester County, PA. Stables is a gorgeous 19th century German farmhouse and stables property
embodying the rural history and lifestyle of Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Levante Brewing operated the property as a pop-up Summer beer garden in 2017 and is pleased to return two years later to have now renovated the interior of the barn and stables building, featuring indoor and outdoor seating, a brick patio and the original outside beer garden. Levante Stables will be open 12 months a year with the beer garden open to guests between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
The property has undergone extensive renovation work without structurally changing the historic farmhouse, barn and stables buildings. Craftsmanship in 2017 was graciously done by Kurt Gunther, brother of Fred Gunther the property owner. Renovation has now continued by longtime friend, Jeff Devlin, the host of HGTV and DIY Network’s “Stonehouse Revival” who is enhancing both the interior and exterior of the barn and stables.
"We've been searching for the right property and farmhouse environment to set down roots and expand upon the Levante experience, only to find that what we'd been looking for was right in front of us all along.”, said Tim Floros, CEO and President of Levante Brewing Company.
“We couldn't be more excited that the property owners, township and residents believe in this vision and have invested in and supported our return to Chester Springs."
Levante Stables is located just a short four minutes away from Marsh Creek State Park, feel free to park your bike after riding the local trails. Situated just a mile north of exit 312 Downingtown on the Pennsylvania turnpike, Stables is an easy drive from Central PA, Reading, Lancaster and Harrisburg. Levante has also created a designated rideshare dropoff/pickup area near the front entrance for Uber and Lyft riders.
“The property simply lends itself to once again, becoming the central hub for craft beer enthusiasts of Chester County and southeast PA. We feel strongly that the experience will delight everyone, and we are committed to continuously developing the property and enhancing the customer experience throughout 2020.”, stated Skylar Sullivan, Stable manager.
Customers can expect all of the latest artisanally crafted Levante beers both on draught as well as their latest canned beer offerings to go. Additionally, Levante Stables will phase in local Pennsylvania wines, mixed drinks, hard ciders and hard seltzer offerings as well. Food service will be provided by local artisanal food trucks with Levante expanding on-premise food offerings in the near future. Customers should expect everything to be locally produced and sourced at Stables.
Levante Stables will be family-friendly, and when the beer garden is up and running in late-Spring/early-Summer, there will be an additional, adult-only section for those 21 years and older.
“We have always allowed children at our brewery in West Chester, and Stables will be no different. We want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone.”, mentioned Jim Adams, one of Levante Brewing’s owners.
