"I have the background necessary to represent our full community," said Zaehringer. "For 38 years I have represented individuals in civil, criminal and immigration trials and proceedings. The public deserves a diversity of experience from the judges sitting on the court."
Zaehringer is running for Ventura County Superior Court Judge, Seat #2. The incumbent, Hon. Vincent O’Neil, is retiring.
A resident of Ventura County for 30 years, Zaehringer has been practicing attorney for 38 years as a civil and criminal law trial attorney. He is a former President of the Ventura County Criminal Defense Bar Association, and a recipient of its Joyce Yoshioka Award for “outstanding contribution to the criminal justice system.”
Zaehringer adds, "I have the interests of the people at heart. I want every person who appears before me to know that they were treated fairly and that their case was heard thoroughly. I will run an efficient, transparent and just courtroom."
The primary will be held on March 3, 2020.
