Online PR News – 18-December-2019 – Boca Raton, FL – All Kinds of Blinds is proud to announce the fundraising efforts now being undertaken by co-owner Angela Conroy. Conroy, in support of The Freedom Challenge, will be training for the next 12 months for a five-day, 60-mile trek through Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.
The Freedom Challenge is a movement currently working against modern slavery and human trafficking. As of 2019, an estimated 40 million people are still enslaved around the world, with 70 percent of those individuals being women and children.
The Freedom Challenge aims to bring aid to victims of slavery and human trafficking through a prevent, develop, rescue and restore model. With this model, the movement seeks to prevent slavery through education and skills training. They also seek to develop a society free from slavery with efforts to support women with vocational training and skills programs. The movement looks to rescue victims of slavery and provide them with a place where they are allowed to heal. Finally, the movement is making efforts to restore the lives of victims of slavery with aid, such as medical care, counseling and skills training.
Conroy hopes to raise $10,000 with her fundraising efforts for The Freedom Movement. Unable to stand by while slavery and human trafficking continue to occur, Conroy feels driven by her faith to raise both funds and awareness for this pressing issue.
