College of Engineering and Technology, IILM-AHL organized one day National Seminar on Sustainable Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (ADMECH-IV).

Online PR News – 19-November-2019 – greater noida – College of Engineering and Technology, IILM-AHL organized one day National Seminar on Sustainable Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (ADMECH-IV). This seminar was jointly organized by Depts of Automobile, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering as part of ADMECH series of seminars. The theme of the seminar was focused on UN Sustainable Development Goal 9. Dr Anil K Garg, CEO, Environment and Energy Foundation graced the event as Chief Guest. Other eminent speakers were Mr Subhendu Podder from Indus Energy Consultants, Capt Manju Minhas from Sifar Zaya Environmental Sustainability Trust, Mr Vikas Bhat from KRJP Technologies Pvt Ltd. The speakers emphasized upon the need of an inclusive sustainable development by not over exploiting the natural resources. The issue of waste management and renewable energy was also discussed in detail. The seminar was opened by Mr Ajay Pratap Singh Sr Director followed by welcome address of Dr Jyotsna Singh Director. Both emphasized upon using the natural resources judiciously. The convener of the event Dr Shiv Sharma introduced the previous editions as well as current edition of the event. Dr Shatrughan Singh and Mr Ranjan Kumar were session chairs during the event. The In the post-lunch session Dr Abhinav spoke on Bio-Energy and Dr Dhiresh Pathak on Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. The event was well attended by faculty members and students. A poster competition was also organized for students where first, second, and third prizes were given to the students. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr Abhishek Kumar, Organising Secretary. The event was partly sponsored by Eco Vision, Air Flow, and K N Life Science,. During the seminar the use of plastic was kept to a minimum and use of biodegradable items such as kulhad, jute bags, was encouraged.
