"The John Fresolo Saga" to be Featured at Book Signing in Worcester, Mass., on November 13, 2019

NEB Publishing announced that author Richard F. Wright will discuss how he came to write "The John Fresolo Saga," at a book signing November 13, 2019.

Online PR News – 10-November-2019 – Worcester, Mass. – The controversial new book from NEB Publishing, "The John Fresolo Saga," written by Richard F. Wright, will be featured at a book signing scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the American Legion post, 267 Providence Street, Worcester, Mass. Wright will discuss how he came to write the book and answer questions from the media and the public.

According to the book's author, Wright spent two years investigating how and why Massachusetts State Representative John Fresolo mysteriously resigned in 2013, amid a swirl of sexually charged allegations leveled against him by his statehouse aide. Wright claims that a 'kangaroo-court' process instigated by House leadership permitted witnesses to lie under oath about ethical charges and not allowing Fresolo or his attorney to cross-examine witnesses.

The book details secret testimony, secret documents and exhibits, and confused and contradictory evidence that was presented by the state and left unchallenged by Fresolo as he was not permitted to speak. A witness that could provide exculpatory evidence, subpoenaed by the state, was not forced to appear on behalf of Fresolo. Instead, after the testimony was concluded and the hearings ended, the state submitted evidence, unrelated to the original charges, as a means to blackmail Fresolo into resigning. This evidence is revealed in the book for the first time.

Wright had access to emails, letters, preliminary reports, final reports, exhibits, journals, and hundreds of hours of face-to-face interviews with the people who participated in the pre-hearing depositions and the three days of hearings.
