Autumn edition of Korea's leading sourcing expo saw more than 250 booths across the premium goods sector
Online PR News – 26-October-2019 – October 25th 2019, SEOUL, KOREA – The fall edition of Korea's leading expo for the premium goods industry, Seoul Sourcing Fair, saw more than 6,000 visiting buyers and 258 exhibition booths from big names in the global gifts and premium goods sector from September 26th to 28th 2019 at Coex.
The expo was split into four themes - beauty, living, gifts, and 'smart' - and saw participation from brands including Ebay, Samsung, Amazon, LG, and Coupang.
Many of the visiting buyers participated in Coex's 1:1 'biz-matching program', which connects local and overseas buyers with companies participating at the show. Coex estimates that more than 1 in 3 scheduled meetings result in new trade deals. Buyers came from big-name players in the industry, such as Koryo Gift and K-Mall.
A three-day selection of seminars headed by experts including the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, Hi-Mart, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, offered education on subjects such as product creation, product trends, marketing, and store design.
The expo also included complimentary consultation for Korean and overseas SMEs.
