Santiago Precious Metals announces drilling results at Valle de las Estrellas Deposit

Santiago Precious Metals is pleased to announce the results from its first three drill holes of its diamond drilling program.

Online PR News – 24-October-2019 – SANTIAGO – Santiago Precious Metals' drilling results from the drill holes confirm the presence of higher grade mineralization at the Valle de las Estrellas project site.

Drilling has been carried out on the Valle de las Estrellas project in the early 2000's. However, the higher grade central core had only been drilled with generally shallower drill holes, therefore not properly reflecting the potential of this mineral rich core area.

Santiago Precious Metals Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Francisco Joaquin Montero commented on the results saying "Our latest results confirm a new geological model and to demonstrate the extent of the central core mineralization, we plan to drill the next phase with six diamond drill holes totaling 2,900 meters."

"As part of the preparatory work for this drilling phase, our geologists will re-log 78 drill holes located within the Valle de las Estrellas deposit. Our geologists' detailed analysis shows that our geological model had identified higher grade dioritic porphyry and hydrothermal breccias. We will continue the current drill hole program and confirm the extent of the higher grade central core in due course," added Francisco Joaquin Montero, Chief Operations Officer of Santiago Precious Metals.
