Falvey Insurance Group's Jack Falvey has made this year's Insurance Business America Young Guns list

Online PR News – 11-October-2019 – Denver, CO – A Rhode Island-based insurance professional has been recognized in a prestigious list of the industry's top rising stars.

Falvey Insurance Group's Jack Falvey has been included in Insurance Business America magazine's annual Young Guns report, recognizing 72 up and comers aged 35 and under who are representing the fresh new faces of America's insurance industry.

As the vice president of group operations at Falvey Insurance Group [FIG], Falvey promotes change and innovation while structuring risk vehicles in new ways. As the leader of FIG's software development team, he steers the division to push out industry-leading technology and platforms. Falvey and his team ensure that all functions are working properly so that the company's approximately $80 million in GWP can be properly underwritten with claims paid. Additionally, Falvey liaises with the 18 syndicates FIG works with at Lloyd's, overseeing report generation and presentations to provide an in-depth view of how FIG and the markets in which it operates are faring.

One of Falvey's most significant accomplishments has been the creation of a $175 million primary vessel pollution facility for the MGA Safe Harbor Pollution Insurance - the largest pollution facility in US history. Falvey led the negotiations, structuring, contract reviews and final sign-offs for the deal, which was a game-changing event for a market that had been dominated by one company for more than 40 years.

"This year's Young Guns represent the next generation of leaders in an industry that requires nimbleness, curiosity and an eye for innovation," says the Insurance Business America team. "In this issue, 72 young insurance professionals all 35 years old or younger made the cut in this year's crop of Young Guns and are all making major waves in their respective niches of the insurance world."
