Simon Jack the popular and insightful broadcaster reprises his Conference facilitator role.
Online PR News – 08-October-2019 – Norwich, Norfolk – CESA Conference 2019 in association with the FCSI,
Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 November, Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel, Hounslow.
When you want the inside track on politics, economics and business Simon Jack would be many people's number one source of choice. In a climate as turbulent as the UK in 2019, the popular broadcaster's expertise is even more in demand. Which is why CESA is so delighted that he's agreed to be the Conference facilitator this year.
"He was a big hit with the 2018 Conference," says CESA chair John Whitehouse. "His combination of erudition, determination and his ability to pin people down, made him very popular. We are overjoyed that he's agreed to facilitate again."
The Conference theme this year is '2020 Visions' and a very strong speaker platform will try to make sense of the present while giving insight into the future. They include Kathleen Seelye from Ricca consultancy and Andy Earley, head of procurement at Hilton Hotels, who will be part of the 2019 Titans of Industry panel considering a key issue. Rohit Talwar, CEO of Fast Future, will run an interactive session on the future of foodservice. Mike Faers, managing director, Food Innovation Solutions and Piers Skinner, managing director, Telemetry Ltd, will look at connectivity.
As usual, as well as delivering insight and debate, the Conference is also a great networking opportunity. On Wednesday 13 November the CESA AGM will be preceded by the chance to play golf on Stoke Park's famous championship course - its 7th tee was the inspiration for Augusta's infamous 16th. After the AGM there will the popular informal networking dinner, which as usual will be raising funds for charity. After the Conference on 14 November there will be the gala awards dinner, where the FCSI Sustainable Equipment Award, the CESA Training & Development Award and the CESA John Gilbert Foodservice Equipment Industry Apprentice Award will all be announced, and the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to the Catering Equipment Industry unveiled.
