Online pharmacy Treated.com has been recognised by the Parliamentary Review as a Best Practice Representative in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Online PR News – 13-September-2019 – Manchester, England – The Parliamentary Review magazine, which reaches 500,000 leading policy makers and business executives, will this year feature Treated.com.

Treated.com has been named a Best Practice Representative in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals in the 2019 edition of the magazine.

The publication is highly revered, and covers a range of topics including healthcare, transport, and education. It was founded in 2010, with the first issue being published in July 2012. This edition's foreword has been provided by The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP.

The healthcare edition is set to be released in September. It will feature insight from Treated.com's Clinical Lead Dr Daniel Atkinson, who shares how Treated.com created their own platform in order to be a forerunner for online consultations. He also discusses the challenges that remote healthcare providers face.

Dr Atkinson explains the need for convenient and readily available testing options, with the rise of sexually transmitted infections, particularly in young people. Treated.com's integration with testing laboratories allows for safe testing and for results to be issued online in a timely manner.

On the service's inclusion in the prestigious publication, Dr Daniel Atkinson stated: "To be invited to participate in The Parliamentary Review as a Best Practice Representative is real privilege. We are proud to lead the way to make online consulting as interactive and concise as possible. Utilising technology to benefit our patients is of utmost importance, and we strive to innovate the industry."

Treated.com's inclusion in The Parliamentary Review follows a successful inspection in May 2019 from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC was established in 2009 in order to regulate health and social care services in England.

Treated.com were among the first online clinics to be awarded a 'Good' rating in all areas. This means the clinic has been found to be safe, effective, caring, responsive to people's needs and well-led upon inspection.
