PAWPRINT OXYGEN NOW IN 100 VETERINARY HOSPITALS NATIONWIDE
Pittsburgh, PA - On August 12, 2019 Pawprint Oxygen (https://pawprintoxygen.com) signed its 100th veterinary clinic contract enabling its life-saving pet oxygen to be sold nationwide. Designed in tandem with veterinarians, Pawprint Oxygen was inspired by a critical need for accessible rescue oxygen within the veterinary community. Veterinary Advisor Sean Smarick (VMD, DACVECC) explains how his own experience highlights the need for the product:
"Life saving oxygen supplementation is commonplace in veterinary hospitals to treat a spectrum of conditions in both dogs and cats. However, I've seen too many pets lost to respiratory distress because traditional oxygen sources were not available for home and transport use."
While the product was launched only 8 months ago in January 2019, CEO and Founder Blake Dube explains that the product is already a staple in many hospitals and homes:
"Initially, we were filling the role that an animal ambulance might provide - oxygen for transporting an animal during an emergency. The product is now used in the hospital for triage and for prescribing at home to manage respiratory distress resulting from various common conditions. Reaching more hospitals helps us reach more pets and save more lives."
Pawprint Oxygen is a product of Aeronics, Inc (https://aeronicsinc.com/). Founded in 2017 by University of Pittsburgh graduates, Aeronics, Inc. makes portable oxygen technologies for various applications.
