The site includes biographical information about Brooks and his positions on many of the important issues affecting Clayton County.

"As the Chief Assistant Solicitor General, for the past several years I have been interviewing with the citizens of Clayton County to be the next Solicitor General," said Brooks. "I have shown my commitment to protect our community through smart prosecution, to serve our community through community outreach and educating our youth on decision making, and to love our community by always staying actively involved in civic organizations, schools and churches."

With Tasha Mosley, the current Solicitor General running to be the District Attorney. Brooks is running for Solicitor General of Clayton County, Georgia.

On behalf of the Solicitor's Office, Brooks has served as the mental health resource prosecutor and teamed up to mentor children in the county. He ascended to Deputy Chief Assistant Solicitor General, then to Chief Assistant Solicitor General within a five-year span. On a daily basis, he is responsible for overseeing the operation of five divisions of State Court, training and supervising fellow prosecutors and support staff, reviewing cases, interviewing and hiring new staff members, public relations, technology training and a myriad of other duties and responsibilities.

Brooks adds, "The Solicitor General's Office has a solid foundation in the community, but there is still more work we can do in expanding restorative justice programs, working with the State Court to expand treatment (accountability) courts and being more accessible to the public. I will increase our efforts to achieve these goals under my administration."

The primary election will be held on May 19, 2020, with the general election on November 3, 2020.
