Keystone Package Testing, a DBA of Keystone Compliance, is part of Amazon's APASS Network.
Online PR News – 25-June-2019 – New Castle, PA – Keystone Package Testing has joined the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS). Keystone's experienced technicians are looking forward to working with Amazon vendors and suppliers to help reduce costs and fees associated with E-commerce.
Amazon developed the APASS program to reduce packaging waste and increase customer satisfaction. However, companies also have the opportunity to avoid chargebacks and prep fees with certification. The three-tier certification program includes: Tier 1- Frustration Free Packaging (FFP), Tier 2- Ships-in-Own-Container (SIOC), and Tier 3- Prep-Free Packaging (PFP). To incentivize companies, Amazon is enforcing a $1.99 per unit chargeback to vendors and distributors who are not certified, effective August 1, 2019. Those charges can be eliminated with FFP and SIOC certification.
The Keystone Package Testing laboratory is internationally accredited so their reports will be recognized and accepted globally. Experienced in testing enclosures, shipping containers, packaging materials, packaging components, and unit loads, Keystone is prepared to help companies achieve certification. Innovation, experience, and knowledge has distinguished Keystone as a premier package testing facility. In addition to Amazon APASS, they have been certified to test to ISTA, ASTM, Sam's Club, QVC, FedEx, and Walmart standards.
To help companies navigate the complex standards, Keystone Package Testing has created a free online quiz that will recommend the best testing type based on specific customer needs.
